Mary Shoolbred

Mary Ann Elliot Shoolbred, 84, of Lexington passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care, Lexington, SC. Born July 4, 1927, in Bradenton, FL, she was the daughter of the late George Leonard Elliot and Mary Louise Enloe Elliot. Mrs. Shoolbred was a charter member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church and a graduate of Brenau College, Gainesville, GA. Surviving are a son, William Shoolbred of Spartanburg; two daughters, Margaret Louise Shoolbred of W. Columbia and Ann S. Blackwell and husband Rick of Marietta, SC; and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Robert L. Brown. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
