Mary Lowe

Mary Rose Episcopia Lowe, 89, of Spartanburg, formerly of the Duncan Park area, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 26, 1921, in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Mornando Episcopia, and wife of the late Daniel L. Lowe. Mrs. Lowe was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, a homemaker and mother, and retired Children's Department sales lady with The Aug W. Smith Company. Survivors include her daughter, Sophie Linda Lowe of Spartanburg; her sons, Joseph Harold Lowe and wife Delores of Lake Cooley, and Raymond Barry Lowe and wife Kathy of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Daren, Brandon, Andrew, Jody, DeAnne, and Fuller; and a number of great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Timothy M. Gahan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
