Mary Prosser

Mary Nan Christmas Prosser, 72, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Oak View Park Assisted Living-Greenville. Born January 11, 1946, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Vivian Dean Christmas of Boiling Springs, SC and the late Ernest Christmas. She was the widow of William James Prosser. Mary loved gardening, traveling, and interior design. She was a teacher's assistant with Spartanburg County Special Education, of the Southern Baptist faith and a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include a daughter, Angela Myers (Daniel) of Piedmont, SC; a son, David Kenneth Smith, Jr. of Inman, SC; grandson, Corey Myers (Courtney) of Taylors, SC; granddaughter, Katlyn (Brian) of Raleigh, NC; great-grandson, Cullen Todd Myers; great-granddaughters, Colette Marie Myers and Corinne Elise Myers; sisters, Ernestine Foster (Frank) of Campobello, SC and Ann Payne (Paul) of Boiling Springs, SC; brother, Bobby Christmas (Joyce) of Boiling Springs, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00-11:15 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307 with funeral services following at 11:30 AM, conducted by The Rev. Joe Mosley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
