Mary Padgett

Mary Ellen Harrill Padgett, 61, of Spartanburg, SC, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 28, 2014, at her home. Born July 23, 1953, in Augusta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thorton Simonton Harrill and Dorothy Louisa Cooper Harrill. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and a graduate of Dorman High School. Mary Ellen was a proud mother of three, recent grandmother, valued family member and sweet friend. She loved to laugh, enjoyed good music, the beach, her pets, and was an excellent baker. Mary Ellen is survived by her family, Rachel Nichole Padgett of Seattle, WA, Jason Padgett (Melissa) of Jacksonville, FL, and Crystal Padgett Eckel (Jeff) and her grandson, Cash, of Austin, TX. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Eric Harrill. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, August 8, 2014, in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Ft. Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385, by the Rev. Bob Neely.
