Mary Ogle

Mary Kate Smith Ogle, 82, of Inman, met her Lord and Savior peacefully in her home with her loving family at her side on Thursday, April 28, 2010. Born August 22, 1927, in Columbus, NC, she was the daughter of the late Henry George and Minnie Bell Wilson Smith. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late George P. Ogle for 58 years on this earth and is now reunited for all of eternity. She was a talented seamstress and a homemaker and attended Harvest Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Ogle Jensen (Peter) of Moore, and Pamela Ogle Erieau (Tommy) of Concord, NC; five grandchildren, Traci Bagwell, Julie Sanford, Jamie Holland, Emma Sanford, and Hannah Holland; and ten great-grandchildren, Camedon Bagwell, Nicholas Bagwell, Kyle Bagwell, Kelsie Bagwell, Jayda Berry, Jordan Barnes, C. J. Edwards, Presley Holland, Jazlen Edwards, and Makayla Barnes. She was predeceased by three sisters, Bernice Smith, Olie Mae Gragg, and Lucille Shipman; and four brothers, Pearl, Earl, Garland, and Gettis C. Smith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at Harvest Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Terry McMillian. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jamie Holland, Camedon Bagwell, Nicholas Bagwell, Kyle Bagwell, Kendrick Barnes, and Scott Green. The family is at the home.
