Mary Motts

Mary Ridings Motts, 88, lifelong resident of Pacolet, SC, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Peachtree Centre. Born May 5, 1924, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hollis and Lois Henderson Ridings and widow of Lawrence Vernon Motts. She was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Lawrence Bernell Motts and wife Lynne of Cowpens and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Paul Manus.
