Mary Morris

Mary Farrow Morris, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, October 27, 2022 at White Oak Estates. Born March 27, 1945 in Concord, NC, she was the daughter of the late Caroline Ivey Morris and Williamson Wallace Morris, Jr. She grew up in the home of her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Ivey in Concord, NC.

Mary was employed with Duke University for 25 years. She moved to Spartanburg in 2013 and became an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was living at White Oak Estates at the time of her death.

She is survived by her sister, Caroline Morris Greer of Spartanburg, SC; her three nephews and their families: Allen and Anne Louise Greer of Spartanburg, SC, Craig and Peggy Greer of Conyers, GA, and Michael Greer of Statesville, NC.

Graveside services will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, 471 Church Street N., Concord, NC 28025. She will be laid to rest with her parents.
