Mary Mcclain

Mary John "Johnnie" McClain, 68, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 15, 1947, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Riley and Margie Cleo Faust Gray. Mrs. McClain was a longtime employee of Friddles Orthotic Prosthetics and retired from Hanger Orthotics & Prosthetics Service. Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Ross McClain of the home; daughter, Mandy Angrisanio (Bobby) of Lyman, SC; grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Helms, Matthew Helms, and Taylor Helms; and sister, Doris Gray Fowler of Spartanburg, SC. Also surviving are her two feline companions, Riley and Mama-Socks; and her two retrievers, Mack and Sally. Private family services will be conducted at a later date. The family requests memorials, in Johnnie's honor, be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
