Mary Cash

Mary Nell Sprouse Cash "Ma Cash", 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, May 7, 2015, at her home. Born June 12, 1934, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude Blanton Sprouse and widow of James Winard Cash. Mrs. Cash was a member of Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church and retired from S&S Manufacturing after 25 years of service. Surviving are her son, James Dennis Cash (Lisa Henderson) of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Alma Brown of Inman, SC; brother, E. W. Sprouse of Arcadia, SC; and longtime companion, David Fleming of Pauline, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Ruby Smith, Minnie Smith, Coley Sprouse, Howard Sprouse, and Dovie Kirby. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Monday, May 11, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Todd Black and the Rev. Keith Davis. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
