Mary Lindsay

Mary Moore Lindsay, 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, January 25, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born November 6, 1932, in Goodman, AL, she was the daughter of the late Eric Ray and Minnie Pearce Moore and wife of the late Dr. Bryan Eugene Lindsay. Mrs. Lindsay was a retired teacher at Spartanburg High School. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and gardening. She is survived by her children, Evan Lindsay of Greenville, SC, Alyson Lindsay Lofe` of Niceville, FL, Christy Lindsay Jones of Boiling Springs, SC , Tracey Lindsay Nettles-Miller and husband Mark of Anderson, SC, and Dr. Jason Moore Lindsay and wife Stephanie of Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Dr. Penelope Moore Bledsoe. She was predeceased by a sister, Nan Moore Wright. A private family service will be held at a later date.
