Mary Jeansonne

Mary Spencer Jeansonne, 73, of Inman, SC, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born March 21, 1943, in Cherokee Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late Young Wilson and Gladys Miller Spencer. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Darren Ray Pearson of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Drew Pearson (Holly) of Spartanburg and Amber Duthie (Kevin) of Pauline, SC; great-grandchildren, Abby, Allison, Dakota and Sydney; brother, Jack W. Spencer (Connie) and sister, Lynn Henderson all of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Staggs. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 11, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Jason Metcalf. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
