Mary Hodge

Mary W. Hodge, 92, of 252 Walker Street, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at her home. Born September 4, 1918 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James and Wavie Wyatt Woodring and the wife of the late Wilson Arthur Hodge. She retired from Pacolet Mills and was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Larry Hodge and wife Cathy of Spartanburg; three granddaughters, Joy, Jill, and Betsy; two grandsons, Tim and Marc; a great-granddaughter, Malinda; and two great-grandsons, Steven and Hodge. She was predeceased by a son, Billy Hodge, and a grandson, Dee Hodge. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Norman L. Band. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
