Mary Burrell Harrison, 93, formerly of Collins Avenue, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 23, 1916, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Martha Mae Luker Burrell and the wife of the late Joseph Wilson Harrison. She was retired from the Spartanburg Housing Authority with 40 years of service. She was a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Joseph H. Harrison and his fianc Genelle Harris of Travelers Rest; three daughters, Mrs. Jan DeHippolytis and her husband, the late Dr. Joseph DeHippolytis, of Cowpens, Mrs. Cherry Harrison Landrus and her husband Retired Lt. Colonel Andrew Landrus of Fairfield Glade, TN, and Mrs. Chris Harrison Weber and her husband Dr. William Weber of Woodinville, WA; ten grandchildren, Joseph Wilson DeHippolytis, Matthew Harrison, Carrie Harrison, Heather Landrus Ostern and her husband Gerry Ostern, Jennifer Landrus Reardon and her husband Rev. Marty Reardon, Hannah Weber, Andy Weber and his wife Jacque' Weber, Willie Weber and his wife Bethany Weber, Amy Weber, and Becca Weber; and great-grandchildren, Elliot Reardon, Bella Reardon, Oliver Reardon, Hilda Weber, an expected great-granddaughter, Sadie Ostern, and an expected great-grandson, Everette Weber. She was a loving wife and mother and extraordinarily gracious to all she knew. Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2009, in the Welcome Center at Morningside Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
