Mary Greene

Mary Sue Hudgins Greene, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 12, 1929, in Campobello, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lillie Colley Hudgins and widow of Hubert Hardin Greene. She was a seamstress with Butte Knit and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her daughters, Linda Lavender (Phil) of Columbia, SC, Brinda Josey of Duncan, SC, and Sandra Morris of Boiling Springs, SC; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Evelyn Greer. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Phil Lavender.
