Mary Eubanks, 91, of Lexington, SC, and of Spartanburg, SC, left the comfort of her home, surrounded by her children, to live out eternity and receive the rewards of God's glory in her heavenly home on Friday, February 19, 2016. Born May 23, 1924 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Bessie Jean Green Clary and devoted and loving wife of the late Warren "Connie" Eubanks. Mrs. Eubanks spoke of the joys of her childhood with loving parents and siblings. Her life ambition was to provide the same loving joys for her own family. She was always smiling, a friend to everyone, an example of strength and determination, defying the odds many times. Mrs. Eubanks loved all people and would always remember your name. She loved cooking, caring for her family, traveling with family and friends. She adored all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many very special nieces and nephews. She was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, Cudd Gems, the Homemaker Sunday School Class, Cudd Wednesday Morning Group, Eastern Star and the Red Hat Ladies. She attended Lexington Methodist Church while living in Lexington, SC. Mrs. Eubanks was the proud and loving mother of Jimmy Eubanks (Jan, deceased), Connie Eubanks (Ralph Park) all of Spartanburg, SC and Mary Anne Booth (Thomas) of Lexington, SC; caring and loving grandmother to Justin Blanton, deceased (Lindsay) and Julie Blanton McCombs (Scott) and Ray Park all of Spartanburg, SC, Tommy Booth (Barbara), Richard Booth (Francesca) and Cheryl Booth Fitts all of Lexington, SC; great-grandmother to Maisie, Violet and Isaac McCombs, Dillon Park (Sandra), Kersty Park, Katie Booth Kitchens (Brandon), Benjamin Booth (Jessica), Whitney Booth, Austin Fitts Jones (Cam), Devin Fitts; great-great-grandmother to Tucker and Ben Kitchens and Avery and Reece Booth; sister to Genelle Clary Ellisor and her kitty companion, Mr. Snickers. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sisters and brother-in-laws, Helen Clary Lockman (Roy) and Gladys Clary Moyer (Gene); brother and sister-in-law, Ray Clary (Wrensie); and brother-in law, Bill Ellisor. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 PM on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, with services following at 3:00 PM at the church conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Norris. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to the charity of one's choice.
