Mary Ellis

Mary Ann Ellis, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Presbyterian Communities of SC-Clinton, SC. Born October 5, 1929, in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas George Ellis, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Barr Ellis. A graduate of Winthrop College, Mary Ann retired from U. S. Steel in Atlanta, GA after 30 years of service and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her brother, Thomas George Ellis, Jr. (Carolyn E.) of Spartanburg, SC; and niece, Emily E. Richardson. Private services will be held.
