Mary Daniel

Mary Louise Wood Daniel, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 11, 2014, at Golden Age Nursing Home of Inman, SC. Born December 25, 1922, in Spartanburg she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Dora Banks Wood and widow of William "Bill" Broadus Daniel Jr. Mrs. Daniel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved her flowers and working in her yard. She was a member of Park Way Free Will Baptist Church and dearly loved her pastor, Rev. Mitch Edge and was a former member of Abner Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Jonelle Pryor (Elton) and Joyce Addis (Davon); grandsons, Todd, Kip and Brian Teal, and Steve Pryor; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and sister, Ruby Bradley Varner. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 3:45 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, with services following in the Chapel at 4:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Mitchell Edge and Rev. Wes Murray. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Oakwood Dr., Spartanburg, SC. Memorials may be made to Golden Age Nursing Home, 82 N. Main St., Inman, SC 29349. The family will be at the home of Jonell Pryor, 207 Midway Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29301.
