Mary Damron

Mary Hancock Damron, 98, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born, May 7, 1914, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. Seymore Hancock and Honor Elizabeth Felmet Hancock. She was a retired hair stylist and of the Presbyterian faith. Mrs. Damron was the last surviving of her immediate family and is survived by a number of great-nieces and nephews. At Mary's request, no services were held. She was buried beside her husband in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
