Mary was born on May 30, 1948, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to her proud parents Heyward "Dupre"Trout and Lucille Trout. Mary's dedication and commitment to her career as a mail carrier spanned many years and left an indelible mark on all those she served along her route. Her steadfast work ethic and kindness endeared her to the community she faithfully served.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Mary found great joy in various hobbies and interests which included writing books and cherishing moments with her family. Her passion for writing led her to create a novel centered around the infamous character "Jack the Ripper", showcasing her creative spirit and literary talent.
Among Mary's proudest accomplishments was her active involvement in her children's lives. She was a devoted member of the school's PTA program, ensuring that she played a vital role in fostering a positive educational environment for countless children. Additionally, she led a Girl Scout troop, imparting valuable lessons of leadership and camaraderie to young girls under her guidance.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her surviving family members: Daughter; Christie Christ (Drew Jarrell), Sons; Randy Charles (Laura), Brent Charles; Grandchildren; Brittany Kingdon (Bill), Ian Cooper, Ella Charles, Layne Charles, River Charles, as well as her dear sister Libby Minton (Steve). Mary was predeceased by her parents Heyward "Dupre"" and Lucille Trout.
