Mary Bunce

Mary Elizabeth Dunham Bunce, 82, of Greer, SC, went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on June 7, 2013, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on May 3, 1931, in Anderson, IN and resided in Madison County until 2002 when she moved to Greer, SC. She was a graduate of the Alexandria High School Class of 1949 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bunce worked as the secretary at Bunce Auto Sales, Inc. and worked at Elder Beerman from 1990 to 1999. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Taylors, SC. She is survived by her three children: Sonia Bunce Buck of Muncie, IN; D'Anne (William) Braden of Murfreesboro, TN; and David (Marcy) Bunce of Greer, SC; grandchildren: Lynna (Chef Jason) Reynolds, Beth (Jeremy) Wichert, Mary Buck, Sarah (Joel) Wagner, Esther Bunce, Amy (Rick) Boyer, Jared Bunce, Bryan Buck, and Rachel (Joshua) Steinmetz; great-grandchildren: Keegan, Kaiden, Paul, Hannah, Will, Grace, Kara, and Joseph; five nieces; and three nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Max M. Bunce; mother, Esther Dunham; father, Orville Dunham; sisters, Catharine Wilson and Joan Frischkorn; brother, Francis Valentine Dunham; one nephew; and three great-grandchildren, Anna Wichert, Andrew Wagner, and James Steinmetz. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 PM Monday, June 10, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church, 500 W. Lee Road, Taylors, SC 29687. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery, Muncie, Indiana at a later date.
