Marvin Melton

Marvin Lee Melton, 78, of 171 Hidden Lake Drive, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 17, 1931, in Campobello, SC, he was the son of the late Joseph Lee and Sarah Louise Smith Melton. He was a retired supervisor with Thomas and Howard Warehouse after 30 years of service and a member of United Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Coleen Hutcherson Melton; a son, Timothy Lee Melton and wife Jane of Enoree; and a daughter, Ann M. Vollero of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Robert Emory and the Rev. Dr. David Lancaster.
