Marvin Boone, Sr.

Marvin "Marv" Boone, Sr., 83, of Inman, SC, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born January 17, 1931, in Greensboro, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Zella Debolt Boone. He retired as a radio news director. Among survivors are his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Lee Boone; children, Marvin Boone, Jr. (Pamela) of Tampa, FL, Randy Boone of Painesville, OH, Linda Frankel (Gary) of Knoxville, TN, and Suzette Boone of Painesville, OH; stepsons, Robert Sales (Paula) of Inman, SC, and Bradley Sales of Elyria, OH; grandchildren, Marissa, Josh, and Brandon. Private services will be held at a later date in Greensboro, PA. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Drive, Landrum, SC 29356.
