Martin Firebaugh Jr.

Martin L. "Marty" Firebaugh, Jr., 55, of Cowpens, SC, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 15, 1961 in Okeechobee, FL, he was the son of the late Martin Luther Firebaugh, Sr. and Ruby Gideon Firebaugh. Martin was a supervisor at Integrated Recycling. He was of the Baptist faith. Marty was a wonderful husband, great brother and a good father. Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Bradley Firebaugh of the home; daughter, Angie Gossett (Wayne) of Boiling Springs; son, Robert Firebaugh of Charleston, SC; stepdaughters, Pam West (Bill) of Mayo, SC; Libby Gurley of Roebuck, SC; stepson, Roger Johnson of Cowpens, SC; brother, Michael Firebaugh (JoAnn) of Woodruff, SC; sister, Jo Ann Walton (Ralph) of Charleston, SC; half-brothers, Jimmy, Tony and Jeffery Sherbert; brother in laws, Tommy and Ken Bradley; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and his two canine companions, Butterball and Smoky. Visitation will be 2:00 - 2:45 PM Monday, March 6, 2017 in The Cowpens Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Cowpens, SC 29330. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM in the cemetery, conducted by the Rev.
