Martha Louise Wyatt, 92, of Boiling Springs, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place-Spartanburg. Born in Spartanburg County, May 3, 1919, she was the widow of the late Lewis C. "L. C." Wyatt and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. V. Duran Bryant. She worked many years in the cafeteria of Boiling Springs High School, and later with her husband at Wyatt Grocery Store on Rainbow Lake Road in Boiling Springs. She was a faithful member of Carlisle Wesleyan Church for many years. Survivors include a son, Lewis Dennis Wyatt of Tucson, AZ; a daughter, Barbara (Randy) Thomas of Moore; and son-in-law George R. Zimmerman of Inman; grandchildren, Leesa McCarley of Roebuck, Cathie Comfort of Denver, NC, Jennifer Wilson of Mooresville, NC, Michelle Morris of Inman, Kim Eccles of Idaho, and Kerry Wyatt of Sacramento, CA; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Frances M. Zimmerman. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 4, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Stepp and the Rev. Dr. James W. Crocker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Rob McCarley, Chris Comfort, Jeremy Wilson, Chad Morris, Mike Bryant, and Brian Dorsey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carlisle Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 3250 Old Furnace Road, Chesnee, SC 29323. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at Emeritus at Skylyn Place in Spartanburg for their care and devotion. The family is at the home of Barbara and Randy Thomas, 520 Semillon Lane, Moore, SC.
