Martha Anne Hunter Sizemore, 79, of Spartanburg, formerly of Wheeling Circle, Glendale, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at White Oak Estates. Born January 13, 1931 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Holden and Stella Bradley Hunter. She retired from Powdercraft Corporation after many years of service and was a former member of Glendale United Methodist Church until merging with Ben Avon United Methodist Church. She loved her Lord, her church, her family, especially her daughter and son-in-law, her many friends, and her cat, Cuddles. She was always ready to cook and help with church functions. Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Hunter Chandler and husband Ed of Landrum; a sister, Christine Hunter Nichols of Spartanburg; two brothers, George H. Hunter and wife Nellene and John B. Hunter and wife Helen, all of Spartanburg; a sister-in-law, Sue Hunter of Spartanburg; and a brother-in-law, Clyde Ussery of Campobello. She was predeceased by a brother, William L. Hunter; and two sisters, Louise Hunter Ussery and Myrtle Hunter Larson. Visitation will be 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Ben Avon United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church, conducted by the Rev. Jones Brewer and Chaplain George H. Hunter. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
