Martha Rowell

Martha Rowell, 71 of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, October 4, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 31, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Rome Graham and Allie Lee Ponder Gowan.

Martha was a retired Registered Nurse. She was of the Baptist faith. Martha was a loving mother to her son and daughter, very loving grandmother to her treasured grandchildren. She was strong in her faith as well as her will. A leader as a nurse and very compassionate to those she helped.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Mullinix of Spartanburg, SC, her son, Kevin Mullinix (Stephanie) of Rock Hill, SC, her grandson, Aaron Mullinix, her granddaughter, Ava Mullinix, her sister, Carol Medley of Spartanburg, SC, her brothers, Grady Gowan of Pauline, SC and Norman Gowan of Boiling Springs, SC. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Tommy Gowan, Royce Gowan, and Roy Vaughn.

A Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 797 Old Georgia Rd., Moore, SC 29369. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
