Martha Osborne

Martha Bartlett Osborne, 86, of Duncan and formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, September 20, 2014, at her home. Born October 10, 1927, in Saxon, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lee Plato Moss and Della Myrtle Patterson Moss. Mrs. Osborne retired in 1989 from Mayfair Mills-Arcadia, after 50 years of service. She was a member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Della Bartlett Stephens of Spartanburg, SC, Terry Bartlett (Cindy) of Inman, SC, Joyce Davis (Bob) of Duncan, SC, Mary Hope of Duncan, SC; daughter-in-law, Brenda Bartlett of Inman, SC; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, James Rufus Bartlett; second husband, Roy Osborne; son, Bruce Bartlett; grandson, Scott Hope; great granddaughter, Lauren Bartlett; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:30 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, by Pastor Lamar McAbee.
