Martha Bobotes Lamprinakos, 88, of Tinton Falls, NJ, passed peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Jersey Shore Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born May 27, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Theodore Bobotes and Pauline Salas Bobotes. Her parents immigrated from Greece through Ellis Island. She married her adoring husband and the love of her life Paul James Lamprinakos on May 8, 1955. They were married for 60 blissful years prior to his death on January 31, 2014. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Joana Bobotes Zanetakos and Theodore Bobotes. Martha is survived by her son, Dr. James Lamprinakos and his wife Linda; two grandchildren, Paul and Nicole; sister-in-law, Bobby Bobotes; nieces, Helen Zanetakos and Paula Kincannon; nephew, Louis Zanetakos; grand-niece, Shelby Kincannon; and her beloved friend, Pam and her husband Goldie. She also had two grand-puppies she cherished and spoiled: Zuzu and Sammy. Martha lived a long and happy life. She loved New York City, going to the theater, and watching the NY Jets play football. Martha was selfless and completely devoted to her family. She sacrificed many things throughout her long life to ensure that her children and grandchildren received an education and thrived. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2019, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Tom Pistolis, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
