Martha Banks

Martha Faye Dorsey/Banks, 69, of 2316 Wildwood Dr., York, SC, died a peaceful death at her home on August 9, 2021.   Ms. Banks was born April 26, 1952, in Newport, TN.  Preceded in death by her parents Add and Vina Dorsey.  She was the youngest of nine siblings.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Candra Trent (Charlie) of Spartanburg, and Angela Gibson/Dulin (Larry Dixon) of York.  Grandchildren Katherine “Nikki” Allen, Amber Williams, James “J.R.” Dulin, Samantha Dixon, and Hannah Trent.  Great-Grandchildren Johnathon and Skylar Morgan, Hunter and Jackson Swilling,  Kevin and Jacob Kendall.  Ms. Banks served the Lord, had a heart of gold and took care of others.  She enjoyed life.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 13, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Jackie Bridwell.  Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
