Marshall Tucker

August 14, 1948 — November 13, 2020

Marshall J. Tucker, 72, of Inman, SC, died Friday, November 13, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 14, 1948 in Fountain Inn, SC, he was the son of the late Lester and Nanie Richards Tucker. A U.S. Marine veteran, Mr. Tucker was retired from Tietex Industrial after 40 years of service. Marshall was of the Baptist faith. He loved the USC Gamecocks, deep sea fishing, going to the beach, his family, and his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Linda Tucker; his sons, Danny Ray Tucker (Jill) of Chesnee, SC, Jeffrey Wayne Green (Sharon) of Spartanburg, SC, and Rodney Taylor Green (Sheri) of Woodruff, SC; his daughter, Linda Michelle Green of Inman, SC; 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and his brother, Bobby Tucker of Woodruff, SC. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2020 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by Mr. Rodney T. Green.
