Mark Alan Crosby, 50, died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 9, 1959, in Lancaster, SC, he was the son of William Donald and Frances Katherine Hinson Crosby. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 23 years and was a member of First Baptist Church Spartanburg. He was a member of the SCAD Club and was active in all sports including bowling and softball. Additional survivors include two sisters, Donna Crosby Johnson and husband Wayne Travis of Pauline, SC and Lisa Katherine Crosby of Spartanburg; a nephew, Jeremy Travis Johnson of Pauline; a niece, Meghan Nicole Johnson of Pauline; and a very special uncle, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Richard D. Lewis.
