Marjorie Williams

Marjorie Ruth Shelton Williams, 72, formerly of 935 Mike Circle, died Saturday, April 10, 2010. Born May 28, 1937, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack Maurice and Dicie Mae Fowler Shelton and the wife to the late Edward Leon Williams, Sr.. She was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lynn Manning of Spartanburg; her brother, Wilbur M. Shelton of Moore; her father-in-law, Frank Tracy Williams of Columbus, NC; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Leon Williams Jr.. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Norris. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Patient Fund at Mountainview Nursing Home, 340 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home of her daughter, 24 Angler Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
