Marion Walker

Marion Crabtree Walker, 85 of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at NHC Healthcare - Greenville. Born July 17, 1929 in Bluefield, VA, she was the daughter of the late, James Pierce and Carrie Elizabeth Daugherty Crabtree and widow of Leland O'Fferall Walker. Mrs. Walker, a retired beautician, was a member of Westview Christian Church. Survivors include her children, Trudy W. Proctor (Gerald) of Spartanburg, SC and Scott Leland Walker (Connie) of Anderson, IN; 13 grandchildren, Scarlett Hulsey, Susan Denton, Amanda Gomes, Devin Moorhead, Elizabeth Fillmore, Chrissy Proctor, Kellynn Proctor, Jeremy Walker, Rebecca Eaton, Sarah Kemp, Lori Baker, Karen Wright and Tom Wright; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Fowler of Spartanburg, SC; and brothers, Donald Crabtree of Abingdon, VA and Ronald Crabtree of Pennington Gap, VA. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda W. Moorhead; grandson, Gerald Wayne Moorhead Jr. and sisters, Betty Devor and Bobbie Ruble. Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:30 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Westview Christian Church conducted by the Rev. David A. Wilson. Burial will be at 4:00 PM in Lee Memorial Gardens, 1986 Hickory Flats Rd., Pennington Gap, VA 24277. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Trudy W. Proctor.
