Marion Solesbee

Marion F. Solesbee, 75, of Wellford, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 9, 1936, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Joe C. and Myrtle Walden Solesbee. A U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Solesbee was also a real estate owner. Surviving are his daughters, Nancy Lewis and husband Charlie, Janet Plemmons and husband Mitchell, and Ellen Solesbee; son, Robert Solesbee; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a very special sister, Jenny Bell. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 19, 2012, in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Johnny Jones. The family is at the home.
