Marion Munch

Marion "Granny" Munch, 91, formerly of 504 Summerland Drive, Spartanburg, died Saturday, November 10, 2012, at her daughter's home in Tallapoosa, GA. Born December 4, 1920, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Monteville and Nellie Ross Blanchard and widow of William "Billy" Munch. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Moss Bradshaw of Tallapoosa, GA; three grandchildren, Alan and Misti Moss, Dana and John Moss Gardner, and Joann Bradshaw; five great-grandchildren, Josh and Ashley Moss, Kain Culbertson, Sarah Mitchell and Zoie, Jacob Moss, John Gardner Jr., Nicole and Josh Darnell, Christian and Courtney Hayes; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Johnny and Larry Munch; a grandson, Danny Moss; five brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Monday, November 12, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Pettit. Memorials may be made to the Marion Munch Memorial Fund, P.O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at their respective homes.
