Marie Martin Ridings

Mary Marie Martin Wade Ridings, 90, of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday evening, January 26, 2024. Marie was born on September 10, 1933. In Gastonia, NC, a daughter of the late Dewey and Lola Beamer Martin. She was married to the late Claude Ridings.

 Marie was a retired legal assistant from the Holcombe, Bomar, Gunn & Bradford Law Office. She was a former member of the Spartanburg County Legal Staff Professionals and the International Association of Administrative Professionals.  

 She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 11 years and had previously taught Sunday School at Oak Grove Baptist Church for 18 years.

 Marie is survived by her granddaughter, Amber Christine Wade. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher Wade.

 A visitation for Marie Ridings will be held 3-4 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 790 Highway 417, Moore, SC 29369.
