Marie L. "Punkin" Lindsey, 49, of 110 Michael Gage Court, Lot 3, Pacolet, died January 1, 2010 at her home. Born October 10, 1960 in Winder, GA, she was the daughter of late Harold Gene Lawter Sr. and Rose Nell Lee Inman. She was a member of Silica Springs Baptist Church and was employed at Reeves Bros. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Lindsey; three sons, Marty Lawter and his wife Lynn, Raymond Scott Lemmonds and his wife Angela and Andy Lemmonds, all of Pacolet; two daughters, Fallon Lindsey of Roebuck and Amanda Gosnell of Campobello; nine grandchildren, Cheyanne and Tristian Lawter, Jacob and Josh Lemmonds, Jayden Lemmonds, Trevor Everette, Cherish Cudd, Dallas Gosnell and Keira Burns; two brothers, Bryon Inman and David Inman both of Cowpens; a sister, Angie McDougal of Cowpens and two special friends, Eddie and Betsy Hodge. She was predeceased by one grandson, Tyler Lemmonds and two brothers, Harold Gene Lawter Jr. and Bobby Gene Inman. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2010 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Silica Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lynn Ford and the Rev. Brian Inman. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Gaffney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marie L. Lindsey fund, P.O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at the home.
