Marie Farmer

Marie Sanford Farmer, 73, of Enoree, SC passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at her home. Born September 7, 1947 in Union County, SC she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Annie Pearl Tucker Sanford.

Marie was a member of the first graduating class at Dorman High School in 1965. Before retirement, she worked at APC, Lockwood Greene, and Sealed Air as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Buffalo. Marie loved Dollywood and The Kingdom Heirs.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Farmer, her daughter, Tammy Hatchett (Phillip), her son, Chad Farmer (Kim), grandchildren, Courtney Hatchett, Connor Hatchett, Noah Farmer, Kennedy Farmer, and great grandchild, Braylin Lemaster. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Sanford Forrester, her brother, James Sanford, and great granddaughter, Alydia Carrano.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 2153 Mt. Lebanon Road, Buffalo, SC 29321. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. in the church, conducted by The Rev. Melvin Shelton, The Rev. Monty King, and The Rev. Jimmie Farmer. Burial will be in the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
