Marie Dickerson

Marie Pierce Dickerson, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2013, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born January 26, 1924, in Mt. Holly, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Dora Marie Pierce, and wife of the late Eugene Hess Dickerson, Sr. Mrs. Dickerson was a homemaker and member of Hamilton Square Baptist Church in New Jersey. Surviving are her sons, James Dickerson of Spartanburg, SC, and Eugene H. Dickerson, Jr. of Washington, DC; brother, Calvin Pierce of Florida; grandson, Matthew Maher of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
