Marianne Bagwell

Marianne Smith Bagwell, 82, of Spartanburg, died Monday, August 27, 2012, at White Oak Estates-Spartanburg. Born January 15, 1930, in Union, SC, she was the widow of James Edward Bagwell, and daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Louise Sumner Smith. Mrs. Bagwell retired from Wachovia Bank after 45 years of service. She was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church, Young At Heart, and the Women's Banking Association. Survivors include her son, Tim E. Bagwell and wife Vicky of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Melissa Fletcher and husband Steve of Seneca, SC; grandsons, Brandon Bagwell and wife Sara of Seneca, SC, and Jameson Bagwell and wife Stefanie of Spartanburg, SC; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 noon - 1:45 PM Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Fairforest Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Dr. E.
