Marian Easler

Marian B. Easler, 91, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at Park Place Assisted Living. Born October 20, 1923, she was a lifelong resident of Spartanburg, SC, and was the daughter of the late John William and Emily Carruth Becknell. She was predeceased by her husband, Conley Lee Easler, Sr. Marian graduated from Spartanburg Junior College. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and of Ruth Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, Conley Lee (Nancy) Easler, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; a daughter, Martha Easler (Fenwick) Nichols, of Augusta, GA; two granddaughters, and one great-grandson; a brother, Douglas C. (Mary Dee) Becknell of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Sally B. Daniel of Spartanburg, SC; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by the Rev. J. Michael Hensley. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 897 S. Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
