Marguerite Key

Marguerite Prince Key, 91, of Glendale, SC, died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Valley Falls Terrace. Born November 26, 1923 in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Molly Bain Prince and widow of Jackson T. Key. Mrs. Key was a member of Glendale Baptist Church, a graduate of Spartanburg General School of Nursing and was a retired Registered Nurse with Mary Black Health System. Survivors include her sons, Richard Key, (Debra), and Robert "Bobby" J. Key (Deborah) all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Julie Smith (Brian) and Robert J. Key, II all of Spartanburg, David Key of Clemmons, NC, Lydia Schindler (Drew) of Winston-Salem, NC, and Dillon Key (Kim) of Tygerville, SC; great-grandchildren, Matthew Smith , Bryson Smith, and Cameron Key, and sister, Mildred Comer of Spartanburg. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:45 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with services following at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Blackwell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glendale Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 268, Glendale, SC 29346. The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Debra Key.
