Margie C. Heafner, 82, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 2, 1928, in Cherryville, NC, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin and Lille Esther Ballard Chapman and the widow of George Dewey Heafner, Jr. She was retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was a charter member of Reidville Road United Methodist Church and attended Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Harriett Heafner Brady and husband Jeff of Spartanburg, and Barbara Heafner Terrell and husband Clay of Boiling Springs, SC; a son, Joe Kelly Chapman and wife Linda of Duncan; four granddaughters, Lauren Whitney Chapman of Henderson, NV, Kathryn Terrell Hudson and husband James of Greenville, SC, Anna Brady Raniszeski and husband Jordan of Charlotte, NC, and Kayla Elizabeth Brady of Spartanburg; a grandson, Benjamin Clayton Terrell of Boiling Springs; and a great-granddaughter, Sydney Elizabeth Raniszeski. She was predeceased by a sister, Blanche Price and a brother, Charles Chapman. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. David B. Smith.
