Margaret Williams Tuck "Memaw", 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, July 25, 2016, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, SC. Born April 9, 1936, in Laurens County, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Frank Williams and Sara Pitts Williams and widow of Walter Tuck. Mrs. Tuck enjoyed working with her flowers and loved being with her family. She was employed with Nancy Fashions as a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children, Cindy Owens (Ricky Hall) of Inman, SC, Cheryl Wardlaw (Richard) of Boiling Springs, SC, and Jimmy Burkett (Lupe) of Clewiston, FL; grandchildren, Jay, Monique, Angie, Chad, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Cole, Justin, Ericka, Lana, Chastin, Paxton, Seth, and Nathaivy; great-great-granddaughter, Stella; brother, John Williams; and sister, Geraldine Wilson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Burkett; brothers, Pete Williams and Frank Williams; and sister, Sybil Croson. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Bryant. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Drive, Landrum, SC 29356.
