Margaret Strom

Margaret Louise Pidgeon Strom, 82, of 3249 Keatly Street, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Windsor House. Born August 11, 1928, in Framingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Alma Bolduc Pidgeon. She moved to Spartanburg in 1953 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was active with Brownies of the Girl Scouts and enjoyed playing golf and painting. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Frederick Strom; a daughter, Pamela Louise Strom Zimmerman and husband Stan of Marietta, GA; and a sister, Joyce Strom and husband Carl of Uxbridge, MA. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Monday, March 21, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Ansley Page and the Rev. Laura Palmer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 393 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home.
