Margaret Small

Margaret Triantas Small, 90, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 11, 1919 in Marathia, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Nick and Aglaia Bakolas Triantas. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos Society. Mrs. Small is survived by her husband, Andrew Small of Spartanburg; two sons, Nick Small and wife Maria of Spartanburg, and Tommy Small of Cornelius, NC; four grandchildren, Andrew Small of Columbia, SC , Despina Small of Spartanburg, and Margaret and Athan Small of Cornelius, NC.; a nephew, Constantine and Andrea Caracostis of Houston, TX; and a niece, Marina and Dimitri Kresti of Athens, Greece. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Friday, May 28, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. The Trisagion Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church conducted by the Rev. George F. Nayfa, the Rev. George Vlahos and the Rev. Tom Pistolis. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
