Margaret Phipps

Margaret Ann Shores Phipps, 74, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 31, 1936, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Roy B. and Alice Mae Morrow Shores. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son, David Phipps and wife Tammy of Inman; a brother, Doug Shores of Florence, SC; a granddaughter, April Harrison and husband Brian of Spartanburg; a great-granddaughter, Rylie Faith Harrison; and a great-grandson, Avery Harrison. She was predeceased by a daughter, Andrea Lynn Bates. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Bill Adams. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
