Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth Mason Grant

Margaret “Peggy” Elizabeth Mason Grant, 79, of Clinton, SC, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Greenville, SC. Born June 9, 1945, in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Simpson Mason and the widow of Charles Anthony “Tony” Grant.

Mrs. Grant was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She served on The Charles Lea Foundation Board and was actively involved with their various events and fundraisers. She was actively involved with The American Heart Association, Mobile Meals, and The Arts Council. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School.

Surviving are her sons, Charles Christopher Grant (Edith Ann) of Clinton, SC and Mark Anthony Grant of Cowpens, SC; grandchildren, Charles Christopher Grant II (Lauren) of Greenville, SC and Jaimie Elizabeth Grant of Spartanburg, SC; great-grandchildren, Harrison Elizabeth Hill of Spartanburg, SC, Cecelia Ann Grant, and Charles Christopher Grant III of Greenville, SC.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 2:30 pm, conducted by Rev. Megan Gray and Rev. Larry Lawson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
