Margaret Hill

Margaret Elizabeth Harvey Hill, 79, of Pauline, SC, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 14, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Willie Lawson Harvey Sr. and Lizzie Foster Harvey. Mrs. Hill was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God and served for many years as church clerk and as a Sunday School teacher. A 1957 graduate of Pacolet High School, she was formerly employed at Diversified Machine Products, Inc. and Pacolet Schools. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Sheridan A. Hill; children, S. Allan Hill (Jana), Mark A. Hill (Lisa), and Jenny Hill McDonald (Richard), all of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; a special niece, Paige Buice Whitt (Rusty) of Lyman, SC; sisters, Mae Harris and Midge Buice (Perry), all of Spartanburg, SC; and sisters-in-law, Elsie Harvey and Erlene Harvey, both of Pacolet, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Willie Harvey Jr. and Jimmy Harvey; and brother-in-law, Ben Harris. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 3:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Jerry Madden, The Rev. Bob McCuen, and The Rev. Michael Hutchins. Burial will be private. Honorary escorts are the 1957 Class of Pacolet High School.
