Margaret Gregory

Margaret Hadden Gregory, 76, of Arcadia, died Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born February 14, 1933, in the Apalache community, she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Emmie Carlisle Hadden and the wife of the late Russell Hill Gregory. She was retired from Mayfair Mills after 29 years of service and was a member of Westgate Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Russell David Gregory and his wife Judy of Inman; three grandchildren, David C. Gregory, Angela Rachell Estrada, and Michael Dwayne Mitchem; three step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Kathy Pruitt; two grandchildren; a sister; and three brothers. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Westgate Free Will Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Kevin Smith and the Rev. David Biggs.
